Thank you, Gracias, MAHALO!
The Western Region Puerto Rican Council (WRPRC), along with the Puerto Rican Union of Mutual Aid
(PRUMA) and Maui Puerto Rican Association (MPRA), would like to extend a heartfelt THANKS to
everyone who supported the Maui Disaster Relief Fundraiser on Saturday, November 19, 2023.
Your generosity was reflected in the time taken to attend the event, the many hands who helped plan,
cook, set up, and more, as well as those who graciously donated from afar. It was YOU who helped us
reach our fundraising goal of $10,000, and this will be sent to help families who endured great loss
in the Lahaina Wildfire Disaster on August 8, 2023.
A special Thank You to the following for their generous donations of money, time, and gifts:
Soria Contracting & Solutions
Mister Lava-Lava
The dancers of Hula Halau ‘O Nalua
WRPRC Chairperson Carlos Feliciano will travel to Maui this week to present the final check to MPRA
President Deborah Francis in a special event on December 2, 2023. The MPRA will facilitate the
distribution of funds to the neediest of families of Lahaina, and they too have our sincerest gratitude.
Again, MAHALO from the WRPRC!
