The WRPRC is pleased to announce the winner of the Flyer Contest! Please join us in congratulating Rosario Serrano!
Her design represents just what we were looking for in this year’s flyer…emphasis on simplicity yet eye-catching passion.
The WRPRC would also like to thank all the contestants for their participation in the flyer design contest and your enthusiasm to express what our festival represents. They all were very artistic!
Lastly, we would like to thank everyone who voted on Facebook for their favorite design....It was a lot of fun!

The Western Region Puerto Rican Council (WRPRC) is holding an Art contest!
We are looking for a talented artist to design the festival's 2017 El "Dia de San Juan" flyer.
The winner will receive a cash prize of $100.00, Bay Area recognition with all the festival publicity, recognition the day of the event, the flyer will remain on the home page of our website for one year and linked to sister club websites in Northern California.
Rules and Guidelines
1. Flyer submission deadline is February 15th, 2017
2. Flyer must be signed and dated by the artist and uploaded on to our Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/wrprc/
In the message area of your upload please put your name and Title of our artwork. Private message (PM) must be sent to the WRPRC Facebook Admin. with your Name, Title of our artwork, phone number, and email address.
The top five flyers/artwork with the most "LIKES" will be selected as the finalist. The Western Region Council will select a winner from the five finest.
The winner will be announced on February 28th, 2017 live on Facebook. The winner will be notified Via email and phone.
3. Flyer must be digital and ready to post on websites/Social Media and print media.
4. Flyer must represent the Puerto Rican Culture.
5. The flyer must include the following information.

6. An area of the flyer must be used for company logos.
7. WRPRC Logo and Club logos must be incorporated in your design or on the flyer. Logos can be found on the WRPRC website at www.WRPRC.org.
8. The primary focus should be on the front of the flyer. The back of the flyer should contain the "Ticket Information" and Park Rules, please see the example below for this information. Sponsorship Logos and event activities will be added to the back of the flyer at the time of printing.
Send your friends and family to our Facebook page or Tag your friends and family on your post and get them to "LIKE" your submission. Remember the artwork with the most LIKES will be selected as the finalist.
You do not have to be Puerto Rican to participate. You do not have to be a resident of the Bay Area to participate. If you are under the age of 18 you will need to have a parent consent to your participation. Please email Website Admin for consent form at [email protected] under the "PR Clubs" tab. Images are Jpeg images and can be copied.
